British Seed Houses Ltd. (BSH) is the largest British owned wholesale seed company in the UK. We offer a complete package including technical back-up, on-farm support and regular contact as well as world-class products and service.
We have a dedicated team to process, execute and dispatch orders. Should any choice of variety for your mixture be unavailable, you will be informed and the substitute variety will be of equal if not greater rating in the NIAB recommended list.
Our products include Agricultural Grass and Clover, Organic seeds, Game Cover seeds, Amenity and Wildflower mixtures, Lawngrass mixtures, Triticale seed, Maize seed, Arable Silage, Bird Cover, ELS, RSS, HLS, and Set Aside mixtures. We offer our seed either as “straights” or as mixtures and we have a number of well-known brands within our portfolio as well as offering an “Own Brand” service.
We have a wide range of Fodder Crop seed including Stubble Turnip, Kale, Rape, Swede, Fodder Beet and Utility Brassicas.
We own and market most of the market leading products such as Aber High Sugar Grass, Aber Clover, Multicote Clover, the Seedmark and Kingcrop range of Grass mixtures, Maris Kestrel Kale, Bittern Kale, Vollenda Stubble Turnips, Appin Grazing Turnip, Stego Rape, the "Ultra Early" Maize Varieties, Puna II Chicory, Logo Triticale, Swift Utility Brassica and the Leisure Lawngrass range.
We are very conscious of quality and try wherever possible to produce our own seed to our own standards; these crops are managed and cared for by our own dedicated contract staff. We also maintain our own testing facilities and employ our own specialist analysts.
